HOMETOWN

I was born in Fayetteville, NC but only lived there less than a year. Downtown Newport News and Denbigh were homes in VA, but when I was 5, we moved to Gloucester. Been there ever since. Gloucester is a unique place to say the least. It's a whole other flavor so to speak. Most of the people around here are watermen or shipyard workers, or doing something else outdoors. I'd venture to say it's around 75% blue collar. It's kind of suburban here, with no huge skyscrapers or anything. Just medium sized homes, the occasional mansion, a few shopping centers. We do have a Wal Mart, so we think we're hot shit for that. We have only one high school and we had two middle schools until a tornado took one of them out in March of 2011. The only way Gloucester ever gets in the news is if someone jumps off the bridge or some other horrid suicide or murder case, or large scale natural disaster. Crime rate is low, so really I would rather live here than Newport News or Hampton.

EDUCATION

I went to the local elementary school and middle school (the one that became tornado-bait) and I must say that those were some very crappy years. I'm not into sports or hunting or outdoor activities in general, so I was automatically shunned. It didn't help that apparently I radiated a gay vibe that everyone seemed to latch onto and tease and torment me until I was emotionally a wreck. My parents decided to send me a Catholic private high school, which was marginally better. I was safe at least. Now, if you aren't real familiar with Catholic schools, they have all these stupid rules about appearance and how you act and stuff. They also have some really mucked up standards for learning. All in all though, I survived. After that I went to a community college, so I really didn't get that whole college experience of dorm rooms and massively-sized classes where you get overloaded with work and have emotional breakdowns because of the disgustingly unrealistic assignments they lay on you for their own sick pleasures. Well, that's my theory anyway. We did save a ton of money by switching to Gei- no, I mean we saved money but sending me to Tommy Tech.

WORK

When I was 14, I was told to find a place to do volunteer work. I wasn't thrilled with the idea but it wasn't an option - you had to have community service hours for school, and it gave me something to do a few afternoons while waiting to go home. I started volunteering at a hospital, moving patients within the hospital, and for a short time, in dialysis, cleaning up stuff. I ditched dialysis pretty quick. It smelled of bleach, the machines were obnoxious, and the patients were miserable. I feel for anyone who has to suffer through that. Especiallty if it's for the rest of your life, and yes, some of those people were there forever. At age 16 I was hired in transportation part time, so 4 days a week and every other saturday for 4 hours I was a slave to the hospital. Now THAT was miserable. Putting aside that the patients are miserable, in pain, sick, etc. the nurses were lazy and rude, and the doctors were mean. Transportation and janitorial were the bottom of the food chain and everyone treated you that way. I stayed on only because they worked with my school schedule and I am not into job-hopping. Six years of slavery there and I finally graduated college and sought other work. I came upon the job of teller at a credit union and got in. It was something I never imagined doing but it has turned out to be beneficial to my financial knowledge and has been relatively fun. After 2 years I was promoted to senior teller, which is basically second in command. I am working on my sixth year there. Eventually I want to move on to another department but I don't know which (maybe training) or exactly when. I suppose you can say I am in a content state right now.

HEALTH

I have always been a relatively healthy kid. I never did exercise, but I stayed slim thanks to a fast metabolism (that has since slowed down, dammit). When I was 18 I had a traumatic health episode that turned out to diagnose me with multiple sclerosis. If you don't know what that is, Google it, but the Cliff Note's version is that my brain is wonky and trying to mess itself up, so I can have issues with nerves and muscles. After a very miserable (I use that word a lot, don't I?) few months, I was on medication and back in action. As it stands, I am very fortunate to have little to no symptoms, but I do have to watch my heat exposure and activity level. Neither one is an issue for this indoor boy. If you are lucky and know me on Facebook, I have a very personal account of the entire thing and suggest you read it if you haven't yet done so.

RELATIONSHIPS

Hey, guess what? I'm a guy, and I like guys. Get over it. This is 2011, let's just be mature and sensible and accept each other. Anyway, I have had only a small bit of experience with relationships. My first relationship didn't last too long because it was long distance, but we are still friends and parted on good terms. My second was evil. There really isn't much need to trash talk him, he doesn't know fidelity, respect, maturity, or anything positive. He's just a prick. Moving on. My last two were better, guys who are awesome and still very close friends. Parting was again on good terms and we still keep in touch regularly. Since then, I have not had a date. Why? Fuck if I know. Maybe I'm too mean or something. What am I looking for? Someone who loves me, and I love them. Someone with some maturity but a great sense of humor. Intelligence is sexy. Respect for my personal space and needs is a must. Common interests. Superficially, I like many types - my favorite of which is the preppy look. Not a requirement by any means and 95% of the time it is on a guy by guy basis on who I think is hot.

PERSONALITY

I like to think I am a firecracker. I have a sassy mouth, sharp tongue, and quick to say what is exactly on my mind. I don't hold a lot back, but I do try to keep tact. I do hold grudges but on the flip side, if I like you, I like you a lot. I have a crazy sense of humor, often inappropriate, but also quite amusing if you are on the same wavelength. I have the uncanny ability to turn anything into sexual humor. I can be abraisive when I am upset or mad, and it is often best to just leave me alone. I can be prone to being in funks, but that goes with depression. My friends try to help me through that the best they can. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and family. I have high standards for others because I believe in quality, not quantity. People tell me I am caring and nice, but they need to realize that lying will earn them the king of hell yanking out their tongue.

HOBBIES

You can get a good idea about what I like to do if you read the Fast 'Formation page. I love video games, especially fighting games, action, and RPGs. I really get into the stories and characters. I love reading, especially horror and mystery. The more fucked up, the better. I love rock and pop music, and love to listen to it at dangerously loud volumes. I like horror movies but action and comedy are great too. I even like the cheesy movies as long as they amuse me in some fashion. I love to play around on the computer; either doing image manipulations, web design, whatever. I love to write, especially fanfiction. I have a lot of imagination and love to use it.

CLOSING

I don't know what else you could possibly want to know, but if you find there is something, visit the contact page and hit me up. It can't hurt to ask. I am not easily offended, so go for it. Also I love shirtless guys so if you want to share, please do.
